Trade application

Open a wholesale account

We sell to registered businesses buying for resale. We review applications in the order received. Most get an answer within two business days.

What we need

  • Legal entity name and registrationThe registered name exactly as filed with your state, plus the state and entity number.
  • Federal EINWe cannot verify a sole proprietor with no EIN, and we decline those applications.
  • Current resale certificateIssued by your state. Without it we are required to charge sales tax on your order.
  • Ship-to addressThe physical address where you receive freight, plus your billing address if it differs.
  • Contact for the accountName, direct phone and a business email on your own domain.
  • Categories of interestWhat you buy and roughly what volume, so we send a relevant price sheet.

How to apply

Email the items on the left to info@mbote.co with your resale certificate attached as a PDF or image. Put your entity name in the subject line.

If you would rather talk first, call (762) 322-3784 Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm ET. We will confirm whether we carry what you need before you send documents.

We verify the entity and the resale certificate against state records before we open an account. We decline what we cannot verify.

After approval

  1. We send your account number, the current price sheet, per item minimums and case pack detail.
  2. You issue a purchase order against the price sheet.
  3. We confirm availability and send a proforma for payment.
  4. Once payment clears we pick and ship the order, with a sequentially numbered invoice and tracking or a bill of lading.

New accounts prepay. We do not extend net terms on a first order, and credit terms are considered only after a documented order history. Full commercial terms are on the terms of sale page.

Reasons applications are declined

We do not issue invoices, purchase records or supporting documents for orders that were not placed, paid for and shipped. We decline those requests and close the account.
